چکیده

Progressive liver fibrosis may result in cirrhosis, portal hypertension and increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma. We performed a meta-analysis to compare staging chronic disease patients using 2-D shear wave elastography (2-D SWE) point (pSWE). The PubMed, Web Science Cochrane Library databases were searched until May 31, 2020 for studies evaluating the diagnostic performance SWE pSWE assessing fibrosis. Pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive negative likelihood ratios, odds ratios area under receiver operating characteristic curve estimated bivariate random effects model. As result, 71 with 11,345 included analysis. pooled sensitivities significantly differed detection significant (F ? 2; 0.84 vs. 0.76, p < 0.001) advanced 3; 0.90 0.83, = 0.003), but not cirrhosis 4; 0.89 0.85, 0.090). specificities did differ F 2 (0.81 0.79, 0.753), 3 (0.87 0.163) or 4 0.84, 0.294). Point shear wave elastography method for assessing liver stiffness.

AIM To estimate the validity of the point shear-wave elastography method by evaluating its reproducibility and accuracy for assessing liver stiffness. METHODS This was a single-center, cross-sectional study. Consecutive patients with chronic viral hepatitis scheduled for liver biopsy (LB) (Group 1) and healthy volunteers (Group 2) were studied. In each subject 10 consecutive point shear-wave ...

Measuring shear-wave speed with point shear-wave elastography and MR elastography: a phantom study

OBJECTIVES To compare shear-wave speed (SWS) measured by ultrasound-based point shear-wave elastography (pSWE) and MR elastography (MRE) on phantoms with a known shear modulus, and to assess method validity and variability. METHODS 5 homogeneous phantoms of different stiffnesses were made. Shear modulus was measured by a rheometer, and this value was used as the standard. 10 SWS measurements ...

Prospective Comparison of Liver Stiffness Measurements between Two Point Shear Wave Elastography Methods: Virtual Touch Quantification and Elastography Point Quantification

OBJECTIVE To prospectively compare technical success rate and reliable measurements of virtual touch quantification (VTQ) elastography and elastography point quantification (ElastPQ), and to correlate liver stiffness (LS) measurements obtained by the two elastography techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS Our study included 85 patients, 80 of whom were previously diagnosed with chronic liver disea...

Three dimensional shear wave scattering MR elastography

Introduction: Magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) is a non invasive method that combines externally applied vibrations with the motion sensitivity of MRI to measure the shear elasticity soft tissues [1]. In MRE this is traditionally achieved by solving an inverse problem with MRE shear wave images as input data [2]. A complementary approach, which does not require the solution of an inverse p...
